Accommodation:
Students
Currently, 35 rooms for men and 15 rooms for women are available strictly on a first come first serve basis. Men students will be accommodated at IIIT's "Bakul Nivas" hostel. Women students will be accommodated at IIIT's "Parijaat Nivas" hostel. Please meet the security at the respective hostel for the keys.
Faculty
Ten "executive" rooms (small rooms with attached bath) at IIIT's "Kadamba Nivas" (NBH) hostel have been blocked for faculty. These are strictly available on a first come first serve basis and upon payment of a deposit. Details of making the deposit will be announced shortly. Please meet the security at the Nilgiri block for the keys.
Industry participants/Faculty
Special rates have been contracted for participants wishing to stay at the hotels listed below, most of which are in the vicinity of IIIT. A shuttle bus from these hotels to IIIT will be arranged by the organizers. Please check with website for the exact timings of the shuttle bus.

To get the special contracted rates, please do not directly book through the website of the hotel. Instead, please send an email to the email-id mentioned in the Hotel Contact Information of the hotel of your choice.

Please follow the instructions below while writing the email to the hotel:

  1. The subject of the email should be "SAT+SMT @ IIIT-H"
  2. In the body of the email please provide the following information:
    • First Name, Middle Name, Last Name
    • Arrival date and time
    • Departure date and time
    • Invitation to attend SAT+SMT school
    • Name of the Hotel
    • For any accommodation documents required for VISA processing, you may send an email to the respective hotel.
    • Please note that all accommodation charges include the applicable Government taxes.
    • Complimentary food/services within the hotel: Breakfast and Wi-Fi.
    • Complimentary shuttle-bus service between the hotels and the conference venue will be arranged by the SAT+SMT 2018 organizers from 6th to 8th December 2018.

Hotel rates are valid for bookings done on or before November 20th 2018.
